Metaheuristic Approaches for Modeling and Optimization of FDM Process

According to the fact that FDM process has several input parameters should be optimized toward a zero-defect manufacturing production. In this chapter, at first statistical analysis and mathematical methods used in design of experiment optimizing printing parameters, which are defined, then they reviewed, discussed categorized. regard, application different such as modelling, experiments (DOEs), Artificial Neural Networks (ANN), Genetic Algorithms (GA), Hybrid approaches discussed. next section, using results researches field, reviewed on case-by-case basis optimal with conditions, materials goals introduced 3D printing.
